Research Assistant (& Teaching Assistant) Positions for Ph.D. Students

Positions of research/teaching assistants (stipend + paid tuition ) for Ph.D. students are available, starting at Fall 2010.

Qualifications

1. Strong motivation to obtain a Ph.D. degree in computer science at The Univ. of Alabama within 3 years;

2. Preference will be given to those holding an M.S. in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Electrical Engineering.

3. Good GPA;

4. Students need scores of TOFEL and GRE to be accepted to the graduate school.

Process:

1. Apply graduate school (the deadline is not very important), which will forward all to the department after your application materials are complete at the graduate school. (Note that if your application materials are not complete such as missing GRE/TOFEL scores, your case will be hold at the graduate school.)

2. The department considers admission and faculty consider RA/TA. (At this moment, I saw your application materials.)

3. The materials are sent back to graduate school, who prepare the final admission/rejection letter.
